Rusted Darkness Emerald Theme by Redeyes-Gambit Rusted Darkness Emerald Theme by Redeyes-Gambit
A dark, rusted, and "distressed" theme for Beryl/Emerald. All source image files are included, so feel free to modify, redistribute, or whatever. Make it your own :) .

For those of you who have installed the extra plugins package for Beryl, "snow" textures are included that look like ashes. Works perfectly with the included wallpaper. Speaking of wallpaper, it is starcraft 2 concept artwork and what inspired me to create this theme in the first place.

Matching AWN and "start bar" skins are also included. See this screenshot to see them all working in harmony :D :

All portions of the skin were made from scratch in The GIMP using *droz928 excellent D9 Rust Grunge brushes ( [link] ) and ~Rhyme2k's starry grunge brushes ( [link] ), whose brushes were converted to GIMP format by ~BR7 ( [link] ) Many thanks to all you dudes! What would I have done without all your excellent work?

it won't have any transparency, because metacity doesn't support it, and i'll try to trim it down to be of a more manageable size (it's 40px).
porting metacity and emerald is fairly easy. most of the work is already done as of now.
